🎥 Viral in the feed, invisible in the profile?
TikTok is once again changing its platform logic – this time with a feature that allows targeted visibility without a permanent presence in the profile.
👉 With the new “feed-only” format, creators can now publish videos that perform in the feed – but are not permanently visible in the profile.
Particularly relevant: Branded content can be placed in a targeted manner without disrupting your own aesthetics or content strategy.
What does this mean in practice?
✅ More control for creators: advertising content can be hidden from the profile without sacrificing reach.
🎯 More flexibility for brands: Ads can be placed more natively and subtly in the feed. However, without a presence in the profile, there is a risk of losing brand loyalty and trust.
⚠️ Less advertising transparency: Paid collaborations are more difficult for followers to track.
This opens up new scope for brands and creators – but also new questions: how sustainable is an advertising post that leaves no trace on the profile?
👉 What do you think of TikTok’s new “feed-only” feature? A strategic tool or a step backwards in terms of advertising transparency?
The feature can be activated in the “Branded Content and Ads” section
