New frequency settings at Meta: More control for advertisers! 🎯

Good news for all those who place paid ads on Meta: The frequency settings at ad group level have been revised! 🎉

What does this mean in concrete terms?

  • More control: You can now define more precisely how often your target group sees an advert within a certain period of time.
  • Better user experience: No more overkill – users are not bombarded with ads.
  • More efficient budgets: Those who optimise their frequency save money and increase performance.
  • But beware: the biggest catch is that the frequency can no longer be changed after the campaign launch. So if you want to make an adjustment, you have to create a completely new ad group.

💡 Our tip: Test different frequency settings and analyse when your target group responds best. A frequency that is too high can quickly become annoying, while one that is too low may not have enough impact. And above all: set your frequency deliberately – changes are no longer possible later!
